Paracetamol oral solution BP 150mg/5ml
Presentation: 100 ml bottle
Paracetamol provides analgesic action (pain reduction) by preventing generation of prostaglandins in the body. Prostaglandins are produced as a response to an injury, or to certain diseases, and it causes pain, among other effects. It also has antipyretic action (fever reducing) by inhibiting prostaglandins at the thermoregulatory center in the hypothalamus in the brain. However, it does not have a significant anti inflammatory action. It produces less gastric irritation and does not affect coagulation.
Paracetamol is used to relieve mild to moderate pain caused by headache, muscular pain, colds and sore throat, tooth pain, back pain, vaccination reactions, and to decrease fever.
